DEFINITIONS

  • Golf Equipment means golf clubs, golf bags, golfing clothing used exclusively for playing golf, non motorised trolleys and golf shoes being the property of the Insured.
  • Hired Golf Equipment means Golf Equipment which You have hired from a golf equipment shop or golf equipment hire shop specifically for use during the Period of Insurance.
  • Hole in One means You driving from the tee and holing out in a single stroke on any hole verified in writing by the Golf Club’s professional or other authorised representative.

COVER

Golf Equipment

  • Cover for permanent loss or damage to Golf Equipment owned by the Insured
  • Excess - £40 per insured per claim.
  • Maximum Benefit £1,500. Single article, pair or set limit £500.

Delayed Golf Equipment

  • Cover for hire of alternative Golf Equipment if the insured’s own Golf Equipment is temporarily lost/delayed in transit on the outward journey.
  • Payment will apply if the Golf Equipment is not restored to the insured within 12 hours.
  • Maximum Benefit £200. Payment of £50 per each full day.

Hired Golf Equipment

  • Cover for permanent loss or damage to Hired Golf Equipment.
  • Excess - £40 per insured per claim
  • Maximum Benefit £750. Single article, pair or set limit £250.

Golf Course Closure

  • Cover for closure of pre-booked Golf Course due to adverse weather conditions providing no less than 24 hours.
  • Excess - first 24 hours.
  • Maximum Benefit £250. Payment of £50 per each 24 hours (but not exceeding the Green Fees payable).

Inability to Play Golf

  • Cover for inability to play golf due to accidental bodily injury or illness occurring during the period of insurance and which is medically certified.
  • Maximum Benefit £500. Payment of £50 for every complete 24 hour period

Hole in One

  • Cover for receipted bar expenses if an insured completes a Hole in One stroke.
  • Verification will be required! Full details in wording
  • Maximum Benefit £200.

Unused Membership Fees

  • Cover for proportional return of the pre-paid UK Golf Club Fees if an insured is injured during the Period of Insurance and is unable to play golf for no less than 7 days which is medically certified.
  • Excess - the first 7 days medically certified.
  • Maximum Benefit £300.
